Challenge

The customer hopes to achieve autonomous dispatching and unmanned transport between the warehouses and the assembly lines of various kinds of instruments and accessories during production process efficiently by mobile robots.



Solution

The customer has deployed the whole solution of IPLUSMOBOT EMMA600 AMRs together with automatic charging station and fleet management system CLOUDIA. According to the task, EMMA600 AMR needs to carry large size trolleys, travels in the limited aisle of the plant and achieves the distribution of materials and regain of empty trolleys autonomously, which accomplishes the automation of material distribution. When the task has been completed or its electric quantity is low, EMMA600 AMR travels back to the standby area or enters automatic charging area. The whole process can be completed without manual intervention.



Improvement

The customer has reduced the cost and promoted the efficiency. The workers in need in the warehouse has reduced from 8 (3 for preparing materials, 4 for dispatching materials, 1 for recording) to 3 (for preparing materials), which raises the work efficiency sharply, and avoids the loss from manual material feeding errors. At present, the customer has extended the quantity of mobile robot fleets, in order to promote greater productivity growth.
